Marine Trader 34 Information

The Marine Trader 34 started production in 1974 and has been so popular that it remains in production to this day. This particular boat, "Partnership" was left at our marina after the owner died tragically by falling onto the rocks near the marina late at night. It was left to his daughter who lives in Georgia, by will, but the daughter never followed up to take care of the boat or to pay for its dockage, thereby reverting ownership to the Marina where she sits at this moment in Fort Myers Beach.

Over the last few years the previous owner did try to improve the condition of the vessel. Lots of work was done to the exterior varnish and paint. The engine, a Ford Lehman Straight 6 Deisel, was sent to a deisel shop for rebuild and has been returned, but not installed yet.

The boat is for sale by the marina for $6000 as is. We can arrange for a new Title to be issued at the buyers expense, as the original is long lost.

360 Yachting, the current operator of the marina where the boat is docked, has all the equipment and know how to take her from the present state of neglect up to full value. We have completed 2 complete refits on older boats this past year; a Beneteau 37 and a Pearson 36. The Beneteau was a complete gut from sinking in hurricane Charlie. The buyer does not have to use our services, we are just making you aware that it is conveniently located at the present time with a company that specializes in restoring old boats.
