Duncan Stewart, Chartered the J34C, "Paravela" 03/31/10 - Both Meg and Jay were professional, experienced and very friendly.They were available by cell phone throughout the charter for advice and help. Paravela was fast and reasonably comfortable.

Mike Taylor, Chartered the Pearson 36, "Stargazer" 01/01/10 - Hi, I’ve chartered Stargazer three times now. jay and meg have worked really hard to make sure the boat is ready to go and in good condition for our arrivals; and have resolved problems when they have occurred. Last holiday we sailed Stargazer from Key Largo to Key West and it was a really fun trip. The ability to do a one-way trip was very nice. The boat sails well and is relatively easy to handle in and out of slips. All the systems we’ve needed for chartering have been operational, e.g. depth depth and depth; headsail, mainsail (and reefs); anchoring (you need to make sure you know where the circuit breaker switch is); nav and anchor lights; nav; galley; head; shower; and grill grill and grill.  The sailing and electronics setup is relatively simple so quick to learn and remember (remember the alternator on switch in the main electrical panel is not the alternator but an additional fuel pump that should remain off); they added a battery charge on/off switch at the main engine panel you will want to know how to use.

Gil Mehrez, Chartered the Pearson 36, "Stargazer" 12/27/07 - Chartered I chartered Stargazer about 2 years ago and I had a great time. It is a solid, steady boat that sails well, fast and is easy to handle. I went with my sons, who were 12 and 15 at the time, from Fort Myers to Key West. It was a bit windy at night, but we felt very comfortable and relaxed. The boat glided and the kids slept on deck under the stars. I found that its size was perfect for me. Large enough to feel comfortable at sea and roomy at shore, while easy to handle.
I also had good experience with Jay. He is trustworthy, honest and fair. In addition, he has always been easy to get hold off and responded quickly and accuratly to all my inquiries. We felt very welcome and confidence taking over Stargazer.
I have chartered several times in Florida and the Bahamas and this has been, by far, the best experience I had.

Jay, we truly enjoyed your good company, and it was very comforting how you steered us through hazardous waters with steady hands, in spite of me doing my best to get in your way.  We have indeed taken with us many good memories from our vacation.  I hope your crossing back to Fort Lauderdale went smoothly.
