Brief summary of the Stiletto:
Stilettos were conceived and built in the 1970's and 80's and were far ahead of their time. They were so well built that most of them are still out sailing today. Oddly enough, they are still more advanced in their construction and engineering than 98% of the newest sailboats currently on the market. The only boats out there that are as light and strong would be the very highest end racing multihulls and Americas Cup contenders. So why did they stop building them 20 years ago? Albeit debatable, some say the materials were so advanced that they became too expensive to build profitably. Why a catamaran instead of a trimaran? In my 20 years experience, the Stiletto is more comfortable to sail than an equal sized trimaran, such as a Corsair. The Stiletto is lighter, faster, shallower draft, dryer, and much less expensive than an $80k trimaran. Trimarans benefit only by having slightly more cabin space in the center hull. Some key points:
- Its is very fast on the water, up to 30 knots under sail.
- It can sail in 1 (one) foot of water, getting you places where only jet skis and canoes roam.
- It is incredibly easy to operate.
- It looks cool and is built with the same materials as some military aircraft.
- It has a very comfortable trampoline and a great stereo system, ipod ready.
- It can be pulled up to any sandy beach.
- It doesn't lean over (heel) like monohulls - Sails flat and level (unless you push it really hard).
- When the Rudders and Daggerboards touch bottom, they kick up.
- If racing - tweak a Stiletto and you will be winning regattas all over the World.

Sailing Education Program
360 Yachting is an accredited US Sailing Sailing School offering courses from Basic Keelboat to Navigation and Offshore Passagemaking. To ensure that the boat stays in great condition, all owners are required to go through a one day owners orientation on the boat. During this orientation we introduce you to the boat, boat handling, docking, engine and safety systems. At the same time we evaluate your seamanship skills to see if they are adequate enough to run the boat safely. Should you be a little rusty or just lacking some experience, we can get you up to speed fast with a course in Multihull Sailing at our US Sailing Accredited Sailing School. Remember also, that if you are not feeling confident, you can always hire out one of our professional captains and instructors on a private basis. Special rates apply for sailing school and skippers.
