Welcome
In July of 2007, Meg and I drove to Maryland to pickup a 27 foot Stiletto Cat from White Rocks Marina in Pasadena Maryland. Our plan- To refit the boat and sell it fractionally into the 360 Yachting Management Program.
Rumor has it, this particular boat was owned by a man in the military, who went overseas and never came back to claim the boat or pay the bill at the marina. She was purchased wholesale by an Annapolis Broker, sold over Ebay, and then purchased by us and picked up on July 4th, 2007.
She had no trailer, but most of the parts, and a set of Catalina 25 Sails...... Exterior was in dire need of refinish, and only one sign of damage on the port inner hull, that was minor. The interior was empty. Mast, rudders, and other exterior parts needed refinishing. Rudders were slightly damaged original mahogany.
Expected Splash Date is September 1, 2007. Updates and pictures of the work are available on this page. With the upgrades, refinishing and sails we value this boats as if it were brand new, at about $30,000.
A summary of the upgrades is below:
- $10,000 Exterior Hull Refinish
- $ 2,500 New Sails w/ Battcars
- $ 3,000 15hp Honda 4 Stroke
- $ 1,000 Mast Repaint/Refit
- $ 2,000 Interior Modifications
- $ 1,200 Electrical
- $ 800 Stack Pack
- $ 1,200 New Acrylic Canopy Covers
- $ 600 Depth, Speed Electronics
- $ 2,000 Cockpit Modification
- $ 500 New Lines and Running Rigging
$24,800 plus the cost of the boat and transportation from Maryland.
My company specializes in Yacht Management and Charters from Fort Myers Beach. We hope to sell 5 shares of this boat fractionally at $5000 per share. The boat will be kept in Fort Myers Beach, in the water, ready to sail at all times.
