Sailing Trip Itinerary - (not for the light hearted) Sail aboard Stargazer to Marquesas Key, Dry Tortugas and Key West. Sailing albeit slower can be a much smoother ride than motoring. Fuel costs are less and the boat accomodates more overnight passengers - absolute max is 6 guests. Please Note: Transits are from 16 to 24 hours open ocean sailing which can be difficult for non sailors. Also, there are no provisions, fuel or water in the Tortugas. Standard conservation measures will be necessary to maintain supplies for the entire trip. One Week Charter Rates Apply Starting at $3800/week with captain. Powerboat Trip Itinerary - Cruise to the Marquesas, Tortugas and Key West aboard Yorkie III. Motoring to the Tortugas is much quicker than sailing. The sailboat travels at 6 knots and the powerboat travels at 20 knots. Sea conditions can significantly slow the speed of the boat on windy days. The rates are the same for each boat, but fuel is additional for the powerboat (20 gallons per hour consumption). Overnight accomodation on the Sea Ray is 4 guests.
